When is Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury? UK start time, live broadcast and TV channel

Tommy Fury’s fight with Jake Paul is expected to be finalized with a date and location for the fight having been arranged.

While we wait for official confirmation, it looks like we’re just moments away from both fighters confirming the news on their social media pages.

The highly anticipated fight between YouTube star-turned-boxer Paul and Fury is set to take place in Miami on December 18.

The fight has been in the works for some time, with Paul and Fury going back and forth on social media for most of the last year.

Both boxers are undefeated so far in their careers, with Fury holding a 7-0 record and Paul 4-0.

Fury beat Paul’s training partner Anthony Taylor on Paul’s undercard in Cleveland, Ohio – when he beat former UFC World Champion Tyron Woodley.

Here’s all the info on what we know so far ahead of the blockbuster fight.

What time is the fight?

It will be Saturday, December 18.

The fight is set to take place in Miami, possibly at Hard Rock Stadium – home of the Miami Dolphins – meaning it will likely take place in the early hours of Sunday morning for British viewers.

Earlier this year, more than 25,000 people were in attendance to see Jake Paul’s brother, Logan, fight Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition bout.

What channel is the fight airing on?

Tyson Fury’s deal and the Fury family’s relationship with BT Sport will likely get them the rights to show Tommy up against Paul.

The fight is scheduled to air on the BT Sport Box Office.

BT Sport also screened Paul’s fight with Woodley earlier in the year – with Tommy on the undercard.

What did Jake Paul say?

The pair appear to have finally struck a deal after Paul shared details of a new contract on Instagram, which included a clause that would force Fury to change his name if defeated.

“If you beat me, I’ll give you another $ 500,000,” Paul said. “However, if you lose you have to change your last name for a year to Tommy Fumbles.”

What did Tommy Fury say?

Speaking after defeating Anthony Taylor, Fury said, “Jake Paul should have an easy night, so he has no excuse not to fight. Let’s go with Jake Paul. I did my part, now you’re doing your part tonight, “he said in the ring after the fight.

“There are no more excuses now, you saw everyone here and I had the greatest joy in the place. There are no excuses, no runs, no hiding places, I want you next to you.

And in response to the bet, Fury said, “Fury hasn’t backed down from the offer, responding on his own Instagram account: ‘We have a deal. Send it to my lawyers as soon as possible.

“We’re going to take a look at this and sort it out because there’s no way in hell you will win this fight.” You leave on a stretcher. You are stunned and you know it. Give it to me now.
