Rapper Dave and rock band Def Leppard announced for Abu Dhabi F1

The final two artists for the Yasalam F1 After Race parties have now been announced…

With F1 Abu Dhabi’s big weekend just weeks away, Flash Entertainment has announced the final two acts to appear at the famed Yasalam After Race parties.

They are British rap sensation, Dave (AKA Santan), who will take the stage on Thursday November 17, and veteran British rockers, Def Leppard, who will close the weekend with a performance on Sunday November 20.

Dave’s Book

You may know Dave’s life and work via his rhythmic collaboration with AJ Tracey on the track “Thiago Silva”, his monster hit “Location” (which also features Burna Boy) or more recently the number one banger on the charts. Brits, ‘Starlight’. Fun fact, our talented friend Dave also plays the character of Morris ‘Modie’ Gregor in the standout British drama, Boy Top.

Def Leppard formed 22 years before Dave was born. The British rock band, big fans of hair spray and bubble gum metal, have sold over 100 million records worldwide and are officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The honor of Yasalam’s Sunday spot is usually given to an act offering a large catalog of hymns to sing – and the Sheffield quartet are no exception. There’s the spicy ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’, ‘Bringin’ On the Heartbreak’, ‘Animal’, ‘Hysteria’ and *checks notes* on another five decades of awesome dad rock.

And the only way to see them perform is to hold track tickets for the day the artist performs. You cannot purchase concert tickets separately.

They join the artists already confirmed Maestros EDM, Swedish House Mafia — headliner of the show on Friday, November 18 and member of the rap aristocracy, Kendrick Lamar wearing his moody philosophical bars on stage on Saturday, November 19.
