Nita Strauss announces online rock guitar fundamentals education program – Music Mayhem Magazine

Los Angeles-born superstar guitarist, Nita Strauss, one of the world’s most sought-after and respected musicians, has launched Rock Guitar Fundamentals – a 3-module online guitar education program suitable for learners of all skill levels. The course is available at www.iwanttoplayguitar.com and for a limited time Nita is giving fans a 50% discount. No code required.

Rock Guitar Fundamentals is an online education program developed by Nita with a simple goal: to put guitars in the hands of as many people as possible and help improve their playing. Nita has developed a 3-module system where aspiring learners can jump whatever their skill level, from the very first time guitar to advanced players who want to brush up on their music theory or learn some tips and tricks.

Module 1 is designed for the brand new player and reviews the anatomy of the guitar and all the basics such as how to properly hold the pick, disrupt notes, tune and more.

Module two has a strong technical and theoretical focus, approached from a rock player’s perspective to be easily understood by the modern musician.

Module three is where you start to find the sweep picking bells and whistles, legato, whammy bar tricks, and more.

Nita says of the course, “I see so many people online saying they want to play guitar, but don’t know where to start. And many other more experienced players who are frustrated with technique and theory! So I wanted to create a step by step course that explains everything clearly from a rock guitarist’s point of view. If you have never learned guitar before and start this course from the beginning, as long as you are willing to devote the time to it, you will get a great knowledge base for playing solos, writing songs and performing on stage. with a group!

Earlier this year, during NAMM, Nita launched 3 new flagship products:

  • Two new versions of his signature Ibanez JIVA guitar, the more affordable JIVA Jr in the fan-favorite “Deep Sea Blonde” finish, and the premium Japanese JIVA X, an elegant transparent black quilted maple.
  • D’Addario & Co have released a special tool kit designed by Nita and named the “Hurricane Kit” – an emergency concert kit for guitarists with all the tools you might need anytime.
  • Levy’s straps released a signature Nita design guitar strap, a black and gold strap with a baroque filigree pattern. They also released a design similar to the colors of the Australian flag to benefit koalas affected by bushfires in Australia.

Nita has also been busy writing and recording for the sequel to her hugely successful debut album, “Controlled Chaos,” which was released on Sumerian Records in November 2018. Watch this space for more on that in the months. future.
