Aussie rock band NOISEWORKS release ‘Evolution’ TODAY – First album in 30 years

‘Evolution’ offers all the flagship brands of Noiseworks with the powerful voice of the leader Jon Stevensbass of the enigmatic rocker Steve Balbithe prolific justin stanley on keyboards, and the powerful Kev Nicol setting the tempo on drums. The guitar sounds and stories of band member Stuart ‘Chet’ Fraser are woven through the fabric of the record and the album is dedicated to his memory.

The ten-track album features rock anthems like “Amerika,” hit “Heart & Soul,” paired with bursts of melodic joy in summer-aligned “Sunshine.” In a loving ode to their lost band member, Stuart ‘Chet’ Fraser, a one-minute instrumental ‘Touch (Epitaph)’ concludes the album.

Joining Noiseworks on ‘Heart & Soul’ and the ensuing tour is a highly acclaimed Australian musician jack jones (Irwin Thomas). Jones pays homage to original Noiseworks member, the late great Stuart “Chet” Fraser, by taking on the role of lead guitarist for the band.

In the 1980s, Noiseworks rolled out of our car radios and was the soundtrack to every big party. From the start, they delivered back-to-back rock anthems with ‘No Lies’, ‘Take Me Back’, ‘Hot Chilli Woman’, ‘Touch’ and many more. Known for their huge stage presence and big sound, Noiseworks were a notable Australian rock band in the 80s and 90s.
