40 years and counting! Rock band Foreigner announce two SA gigs

After more than 40 years in the music industry, Foreigner is still rocking the music charts. Some of their biggest hits include jukebox hero, Cold as ice, hot blooded, Waiting for a girl like you, dirty white boy and head games.

The award-winning rock band amass over 15 million audio and video streams per week. The group has more top 10 songs than Journey and is in every category on Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time” lists.

With his stylistic songwriting and talent on many levels, the band’s founder, Mick James, propelled the band to exceptional heights.

Foreigner is set to travel to Mzansi in October for two performances.

The line-up includes Kelly Hansen on vocals, Jeff Pilson on bass, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, Bruce Watson and Luis Carlos Maldonado on guitars and Chris Frazier on drums.

An unprecedented new level of energy has led the band to a re-emergence of stunning music that speaks to Foreigner’s enduring popularity.

Foreigner will perform in Pretoria at the SunBet Arena in Time Square on Sunday October 9th. Their performance in Cape Town will take place on Tuesday, October 11 at the Grand Arena in GrandWest.

Ticket sales open on Friday April 1st but the Discovery Bank presale begins Wednesday March 30th at 09:00 and continues until April 1st.
